Information:
Bartolomé is an iconic site in the Galápagos Islands, offering some of the most beautiful landscapes in the archipelago. Among the species found here are sea turtles, which choose this place for nesting, and Galápagos penguins. The site has two beaches: North Beach and South Beach. The northern beach is the landing site where you can swim and snorkel.
South of the beach is accessed by a small path along the mangroves and over the large sand dune. Bartolomé Escalera, the top of this hill, is about 115 meters high, and the route is along a 795-meter path.
